Dear Customers,
As time races by, we are approaching the home stretch of 2026, Our last newsletter was in June, as we have found in years past that many of you are away in July and August.
Another thing we have noticed about this time of year, is organizations need to use their remaining water quality testing budgets before the end of the calendar year, or plan for testing programs in the new year. Whichever the case might be for you, we are always responsive in providing quotes with accurate domestic and international shipping estimates. Please let me know if this would be helpful to you.
Most of all, thank you to one and all for your continuous support of our water quality test kits. To this day we are fascinated to learn of the many different types of applications and projects for which you use our tests around the world. We are grateful and honored.
Thank you, with kind regards always, Lisa

ADRA Uses CBT EC+TC MPN Kit to Evaluate Household Water Filters in Venezuela
In 2023 and 2024, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Venezuela distributed 2400 Sawyer PointOne filters and 900 Ecofiltro ceramic filters to Venezuelan households. They launched an investigation to compare the effectiveness, durability, and user acceptance of these water filtration systems in households.
A key challenge for water quality testing was obtaining valid and comparable microbiological data across diverse household water sources. This was especially true in rural and remote areas without laboratory access. To solve this challenge in their project, ADRA selected the Aquagenx CBT EC+TC MPN Kit that quantifies the concentration of E. coli and Total Coliform bacteria in 100mL water samples.

Givewell Chlorination MEL Project and Aquagenx Water Quality Test Kits
Since 2017, GiveWell has awarded its partners $125+million to improve water quality in low- and middle-income countries. One of their funded WASH programs is the In-line Chlorination Project that installs chlorine dispensers and in-line chlorination systems in communities.
A component of this program is the Givewell Chlorination Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Project, including microbial water quality testing for E. coli bacteria. Pilot programs are occurring in Somalia, Chad, Nigeria, Madagascar, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia.
The Aquagenx CBT EC+TC MPN Kit is one of the recommended water quality test kits that partners in the GiveWell Chlorination Project can evaluate to see if it meets their testing needs. To date in 2026, we have received purchase orders for over 9,000 of our tests for the GiveWell project with more orders anticipated in the coming weeks and months.
We are thrilled our tests kits are a part of this important project. Here are some recent posts about GiveWell users and our Aquagenx water quality tests:
